WERE STILL STANDING:

Since our very humble beginning, we have been through a lot changes over 45-plus years and have weathered all the storms that have been thrown at us. Many contractors and companies have failed during this time and went out of business leaving customers stranded. We can honestly say we have completed every project we have ever started, no matter what the cost has been.

These are a few facts of what we have survived over the years.

1. 70s brought high gas prices for the 1st time. On 2 different occasions during the 70s there were gas shortages, long gas lines, and getting gas was on even and odd days. Limited number of gallons you could pump. This was hard to keep your business going.
2. the late 70s, and early 80’s inflation skyrocketed to 14%, and Unemployment was 20%, during this same time interest rates went thru the roof. We were borrowing money a 22 percent interest only, plus 10 points to keep our projects going. Today’s interest rates are nothing compared to that time period in our history.

3. We have been thru 4 major recessions that companies and families lost their homes and jobs, and major banks and financial institutes were collapsing. Banks were almost giving their real estate portfolios away in the 80’s and again in 2008. Financial Institutes were calling us to buy their real estate holdings.

4. In the 80’s the AIDS epidemic started which created panic. Customers did not want outsiders in their homes. They were afraid they might catch Aids, So miss informed.

5. in 2020 COVID-19 epidemic started which has caused financial hardship on many families, companies, small mom and pop businesses. The customer again did not want contractors in their homes.

6. in the 2000s War with Iraq and Afghanistan the loss of friends, family and love ones.

7. The political climate is like the Hatfield’s and McCoys where no one gets along, finger-pointing, bad decisions, politicians not doing their jobs, running up debt, and printing money like play money, it’s a constant battle to prove no point at all, but their own. All parties are just as bad as the other party, which affects all of us in many ways. But after all of this, WE ARE STILL STANDING, building and taking care of you, our Customer.
